Andrew McLean, the co-founder of Eco Villages Australia started living in Maleny Eco Village 7 years ago with a unique model, called “Collective Stewardship”. It’s a collective land-ownership model closely aligned with First Nations connection to land and kin that is perfect for small intentional supportive communities.

We are blessed to have one of the pillars of the Tiny House community - having 10 years of tiny living, both in communities/villages, and as a host, AND one of the original ATHA presidents.  There are Ups and Downs - and Kim's message to everyone is  "Just Do It"

Need land to park your house? Got land you would be interested in hosting a tiny house?  Successful land finding service, ParkMyTinyHouse, run by Briony Jenkinson, who also lives in a tiny house... (hear her story from divorced single mum with less that $2k - to now living by the sea, in her luxury tiny house!)

SITE PLANNING 101

2:00 pm - Off Grid Panel - Solar, Water Filtration, Towing, Siting

Preparing yourself:  On a hill? Difficult access? Where is your tank going to go - where does the Grey water go? Toilets? Water?  The nitty gritty, this talk empowers you to know exactly what you are doing and how to get prepared.

3.15 pm - THE BIG QUESTION + ANSWER SESSION

ASK ANYTHING - you are welcome to put up your hand and ask ANYTHING to a whole panel of Tiny Experts including toilets, waste, towing, design, land renting, and land hosting, solar, council, sewerage systems and more.

MY SELF RELIANCE - This is an "event-within-the-event"!  A second talks hall with workshops and interest points including Permaculture, Building your community, Short term prepping, medicinal herbs and plants, and becoming more self-reliant.  (These talks may also be coming to BRISBANE)
