If the new dates do not suit - you can request a refund - as long as the request is PRIOR to the new dates (not the morning of the show) - this enables us to re-sell your tickets.
YOUR TICKET FOR October dates WILL SCAN FOR THE NEW EVENT. There is no need for a new ticket.
Is the Event ON - Yes it is! If Covid related instances allow us a smooth run it is 100% on.
You can swap which DAY you wish to come to the expo by emailing from your ticket order. Please do this in advance of the dates as it is very difficult to get through volumes of switches on the days of the event - plus others may have wished to buy your ticket session and missed out. (Our tickets sell out in advance)
Tiny homes Expo is not necessarily all about queuing up to peek inside houses in a 30 minute rush and then go home... there is SO much more. Speakers, Off Grid, presentations, experts, - this is an all rounded event. If you wish to just see in a few houses for design ideas, you can visit a Tiny house builder in your area - for free - or catch a youtube channel. Plan to spend a few hours browsing everything and discover the opportunities. We aim to get you a minimum 25+ houses, provided borders and covid lockdowns do not hinder the efforts of all involved to bring houses to one place. House Counts are announced on our facebook pages from time to time!
Our Brisbane event - held in October 2021 - had thousands of attendees left disappointed when the gate and online tickets sold out 3 days before the show. Over 7000 people were unable to attend.
If you are worried the event may be cancelled - we do refund. If you want to wait and see what the weather is like, it is possible you will miss out altogether. If the event is not sold out. -there will be tickets available to buy at the gate. You can click Interested in the event on facebook to keep abreast of tickets selling out on our facebook page. https://tinyhomesexpo.com.au/visitor-info

SYDNEY: Ample Showground parking -
MELBOURNE: $5 and free parking at the venue
BRISBANE: Street Parking and a managed Car park (volunteers)
Ticketing of events is a crucial element to a successful show. We have staggered the event arrival times because we know that huge amounts of people arrive and stay between the 10am-1pm period. This creates long, long lines and queues into tiny homes, and everyone gets a little disparaged.
By making this timeframe a little more expensive, we hope to flatten out the spike in attendance to be a bit more even across the day.
If you came in the morning or the afternoon, you will see the same houses, the same stalls and the same speakers / demos and Q+A sessions.
TIP: If the queues are long when you arrive - go catch a speaker and browse other stands, and try later in the day... the last hour is a breeze! Rushing in with the expectation of getting in and out of 20 or so houses in a 30 minute period is unrealistic. The more popular houses do get some queues forming.
So if you are thoroughly researching your tiny house purchase, we recommend coming for a longer time to pick the knowledge pool in every corner... others may want to come for a nice browse instead.
WHY NOT FREE TICKETS? If the event were free, we estimate in excess of 25,000 people would rock up 'for a look', and the event would literally implode under its own popularity. Imagine queuing for 4 hours to view each house! Our aim is to keep crowding under control for both the above reasons and for our ability to run an event under Covid restrictions. If you just want to peek at cute houses, we recommend visiting a builder's showroom - which is free. The event is far more rounded with experts and associated products, speakers and lots of knowledge pools to explore. You will get a lot out of planning your day - visiting the speaker hall, chatting with exhibitors and info booths.
We are child friendly event, however we do not specifically incorporate children's entertainment. Note: we do not charge for children under 16, they do not require a ticket.
As an outdoor event, we would love you to bring your dog - however, generally, many builders ask that they are not taken inside the Tiny Houses. IF you do, please ensure you bring materials to deal with doggy-accidents immediately, and obviously they are expected to be kept on a leash. We are NOT impressed with attendees who allow their dogs to pee up against the houses!
WE will not be able to swap tickets ON THE DAY. You need to contact via your order email and request a swap PRIOR TO THE EVENT to switch days. From your order, hit the Contact Organiser button for a switch.
This is difficult. We have set amounts of tickets for the morning session, and are unable to re-sell them. You can still arrive in the afternoon, but unfortunately, you will not receive a refund of the entry price difference of $10.00
The ticketing portal will disable anyone trying to buy a ticket online Saturday Morning. This is due to the high volumes of people that wait until Saturday morning to buy a ticket and the ticket sales surge causing issues with the portal and errors that result in 'double buying'.
Disabled patrons and their caregivers (with companion cards), do not need to buy a ticket. Nearly every (but not all), Tiny Home has steps and are not suited to wheelchair access (and we're sorry about that). Expos are also generally overwhelming for Autistic and Spectrum patrons. Builders of tiny homes will 100% custom a house to your needs - even including space for an assistance dog - so do come speak to them and ask for a private viewing - they can achieve anything you need. The event is on hard and grass surfaces, and mainly flat ground for getting around. Please come to the ticket desk with Government issued disability card and Companion Cards for complimentary entry.
If Lockdown - Covid19 outbreaks threaten the event - we may postpone - and find new dates. If this is the case, you will be offered to keep your ticket for the new dates - or request a REFUND. As long as the refund is before the event gets started so we can resell your tickets. Please do not hang on to your tickets until the very day before if you are know you can not come. - others would like that ticket released back into the system so they can attend!
Every exhibitor is featured in our Magazine - handed to you upon entry to take home. Exhibitors also feature on our Facebook Events pages under the Discussion Bar. We do not publish online or hand out lists of all our exhibitors prior to the event. Things change, exhibitors cancel, presenters change, new exhibitors book last minute. If you feel you want to come to see a particular exhibitor or presentation, you can message us for info on that particular exhibitor and we will help where we can. There are Tiny houses on wheels and skids, container homes, modular homes, a master builder cabin, shell homes to fit out yourself, builder products and even domes. There's teeny weeny ones, and incredibly large ones. Solar, lots of toilets and off grid stands, heating/stoves, market stalls and Consultants, Financing and Rules and Regs.
